CLEAR BRACES / CLEAR ALIGNERS

Nowadays, it is no longer necessary to give up esthetics while teeth are being aligned or corrected through orthodontics.
For working professionals, teens and persons who do not want to draw extra attention to their dental work in progress can have the option to use invisible orthodontic treatment, which consists of custom-made tooth straightening removable appliances that benefit from being “invisible” or “transparent”.

CLEAR ALIGNER TECHNOLOGY

Here at Bible Hill Family Dentistry, we use high-quality clear aligners made of first-class materials with which excellent results are obtained, we use SureSmile Clear Aligners from Dentsply and ClearCorrect from Straumann. They are designed to be the most effective.

ADVANTAGES

To correct malocclusion in patients with permanent dentition, a growing number of patients and doctors prefer clear aligners to traditional braces, due to advantages such as:
  • Improved esthetics and self-esteem
  • No dietary restrictions
  • Improved oral hygiene
  • High-quality results
  • Shorter treatment times
  • Comfortable
  • Teeth-grinding protection

HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO WEAR ALIGNERS?

Each aligner in the series (typically worn for 2 weeks) will move your teeth gradually into a straighter position.
These aligners should be worn between 20-22 hours per day, they should remain in your mouth as long as possible for the treatment to be effective.

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?

The treatment with invisible aligners can take from 6-24 months, depending on the severity of your case in particular. This treatment is faster compared to traditional braces because of the software that is used to plan the movement of teeth in the most efficient path possible.

HOW MUCH DOES CLEAR ALIGNERS COST?

Clear aligners’ cost is usually higher than that of traditional metal braces. The cost will be determined by how long the treatment lasts and the number of aligners you will need.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MY INVISIBLE ALIGNERS?

  • Rinse the aligners every time you remove them
  • Take your aligner tray out each morning and clean both your teeth and the trays.
  • Brush and floss your teeth before you put them back in.
  • Do not eat or drink with invisible aligners in your mouth.
  • Don’t use colored toothpaste or soap to clean your trays.
